Christmas Meme
I’ve been tagged by vintagefan! It’s taken me a couple of days to actually get to this, but fun is fun! Yay Christmas goodness! For the fact that I’m terrible at writing up regular entries that aren’t rants, I’ve stuck to Vintie’s format of explanation.
I’ve tagged Robert-Gilles and Kalika, both very awesome writers who make the world that much cooler with their stories. You guys have to copy and paste the story and the rules onto your blog and then add two more lines and infect other victim(s).
In those added lines, one word needs to be linked to your own blog and your post should include a link to Santa’s Community Blog, the originator of the meme. Once the story reaches the 21st line the last writer has to “submit the story. You can do that by leaving a comment to this message, with a link to your own post. We will select the best, nicest, warmest, funniest Collectively Written Christmas Stories and publish them here on Santa’s Community Blog.”
Hm… We’ll see how this meme turns out after its put through the gauntlet of my writings (mostly because I’m terrible at one-liners >.<).
Lines 10 and 11 for you:
1. The day before Christmas a young little girl
2. Was worried about Christmas in the Future.
3. So, she planted an acre of “living Christmas trees”
4. without realizing that the grumpy Alien Next Door
5. was allergic to trees and hated Christmas.
6. Eager to help, the Matriarch of the wood nymphs
7. called on the spirits of the newly planted trees
8. because what the alien really needed was not antihistamine
9. but more like a group of friends to change his scowl to a smile.
10. The spirits flew quickly over to the house of the alien
11. and built him a glittering Castle of starlight
I tried! Keep it going!

“Wonderful,” says the Alien!…I like where this is going, eeratka! :)
Lovely Eeratka. And I do like the sound of ‘Vintie.’
OH you all have done such an outstanding job!! This is progressing nicely thank-you.
I love the castle image. Great job.
